When I was first accepted to Acadia, some of the biggest questions I had were about finances. Although student accounts were new to me, Acadia helped me navigate this unfamiliar process.
I hope this guide supports you and answers any questions you may have!
Finding Out How Much You Owe
Before you can make a payment, you need to know how much you owe. Here鈥檚 how to find out:
- Log in to myAcadia by clicking 鈥淪elf-Service鈥 and using your Acadia username and password.
- Click 鈥淪tudent Finance鈥 to see a summary of each term and your total account balance. Click on a term to view your account statement, broken down into categories.
- You can also print statements and receipts for your records:
- To print a receipt, open the 鈥淧ayments鈥 section and click the receipt number.
- To print a statement, click 鈥淰iew Statement鈥 on the right-hand side.
Making Payments: Your Options
Now that you know how much you owe, let鈥檚 talk about the payment options available to you. It's important to note that e-transfers and credit cards are not accepted methods of payment.
Making Payments Within Canada
For domestic students, online banking is highly recommended:
- Log in to your online banking platform.
- Navigate to "Pay a Bill" and add "澳门六合彩资料" as a payee.
- For your account number, use your 7-digit student ID preceded by 2 additional zeroes (e.g 000300000)
- Select your account and input the payment amount.
Payments through online banking may take a few days to process.
If online banking isn鈥檛 suitable, you can also pay:
- In-person: Visit the Student Accounts office in the lower level of University Hall. Payment methods include cash (CAD/USD), cheque, money order, or bank draft.
- Mail: Send cheques to 澳门六合彩资料 Student Accounts, Box 9, 15 University Avenue, Wolfville, NS B4P 2R6. Remember to include your student ID.
Payment Options from Outside of Canada
If you're paying from outside of Canada, is your best option. They offer detailed tracking and excellent support. Here鈥檚 how to use it:
- Select your country and the amount you wish to pay.
- Review the provided quotes, which detail expected processing times.
- Enter your student details and complete the payment through your chosen provider (e.g., bank, UnionPay, AliPay).
- Keep the reference number handy for tracking; payments usually arrive within 7-10 days.
For wire payments, send your funds to:
- Bank: BMO
- Address: 424 Main Street, Wolfville, NS B4P 1C9
- Bank ID: #001
- Bank Transit: #02063
- Bank Account: #1010-842
Ensure you include your student ID.
Student Loans, Sponsorships, and External Awards
In addition to the funding offered by Acadia and our generous donors, you can explore external awards and scholarships available from government and other organizations.
- Student Loans: Your online statements through myAcadia Self-Service will be updated once we process your loan file. Complete the "Request for Program Information" and send it to financial.aid@acadiau.ca for processing.
